HexshaftArrows.com has been developed by the two original designers
of the machining process which makes the hexshaft arrow shaft possible.
Avid traditional archers themselves, Jake and John Wiebe had been
making standard one-piece lodgepole pine shafts, yet were not satisfied
with the inherent disadvantages of standard wood. Then, during a
meeting with Dave Richardson in Alberta, Canada, Jake was shown
a rare hand-made exotic arrow shaft made in the '50's, comprised
of 5 pieces of bamboo & 5 pieces of hardwood. In discussing this
unique shaft it was agreed that if a process could be designed that
would efficiently reproduce this inherent strength and durability;
it would be superior to all others - but could it be made affordable
to all archers worldwide?
In a moment of divine inspiration, Jake drew on paper the design
of what the world now knows as the Hexshaft. Years of development
then followed as he and his brother John developed the process,
and the machinery which allowed the production of these shafts on
a large scale. Today, the patented process which allows this unmatched
quality and uniformity of Hexshaft arrows continues to provide the
world with superior shafts at economical prices.

throughout the western states and Alaska for making some of
the finest cedar arrows ever offered to the archery community.
